Overview
Working hours set a schedule for when the SalesChat widget is active on your site. You can now configure whether the widget displays in away mode or is hidden outside of working hours.
Set your team's working hours schedule
Choose between "away mode" or "hidden" for after-hours display
Capture customer inquiries even when your team is unavailable
Note: When determining to show the SalesChat widget, working hours are assessed first, followed by visibility rules. Customers who match visibility rules but are browsing the site outside of working hours will see the widget based on your after-hours configuration.
To set working hours, follow the steps below:
Navigate to SalesChat
Select the gear icon to go to SalesChat settings.
Select Working hours.
If working hours are not currently enabled, toggle the setting to On.
Customize the days and hours you want your team to be available for SalesChat. During these hours, customers will have the option to chat with your team in real-time.
Select the desired behavior when outside working hours as Away or Hidden:
Away mode: The SalesChat widget remains visible with a customizable away message, allowing customers to leave inquiries for your team to respond to later
Hidden: The SalesChat widget is completely hidden from view (current default behavior)
Select Save to apply your configuration.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Navigate to Saleschat.
2. Select the gear icon to go to SalesChat settings.
3. Select Working hours.
4. If you don't have working hours set up yet, toggle Working hours to the "On" setting.
5. Customize the days and hours you want the SalesChat widget to appear on your website. During these hours, customers will have the option to chat with your team. You can use store hours or when your team will be monitoring the chat.
Note: You can further customize when SalesChat is shown through visibility rules.
6. Select the desired behavior when outside working hours as Away or Hidden:
Away mode: The SalesChat widget remains visible with a customizable away message, allowing customers to leave inquiries for your team to respond to later
Hidden: The SalesChat widget is completely hidden from view (current default behavior)
7. Select Save.
