How do I adjust Campaign Settings

This article will teach you how to adjust campaign settings based on Subscriptions, Recently contacted and who can approve Campaigns

You have the power to personalize your Campaign Settings. This means you can decide when your campaigns are sent based on subscription status and previous interactions through Endear or other integrations. Plus, you're in control of the approval process – set when approval is needed and choose who gets to give the green light for your campaigns.

How to Navigate to Campaign Settings

Overview:

  1. Click Campaigns

  2. Click Campaign Settings

Setting Default campaign rules

These settings will be applied to all newly created campaigns by default. Here you can adjust who receives a campaign message based on their marketing subscriptions and how recently they were contacted. Recipients unsubscribed in Endear will always be excluded from campaigns.

How to require subscriptions

You can require that customers are explicitly subscribed to marketing before sending out campaigns.

Overview:

  1. Navigate to the Campaign Settings (Campaigns > Campaign Settings)

  2. Choose Yes or No to require subscriptions under "Require recipients to be subscribed to marketing?"

  3. If Yes choose either:

    Globally (Requires customers to be subscribed in Endear) or

    In Following Sources (A customer must be subscribed in a specific integration (eg; Shopify or Klaviyo))

Click on Suppress messages to recipients that have recently been contacted?


How to Suppress messages to recently contacted customers

You can suppress campaign e-mails to customers who have recently been contacted by someone in Endear or from a specific integration.

Overview:

  1. Navigate to the Campaign Settings (Campaigns > Campaign Settings)

  2. Choose Yes or No under "Suppress messages to recipients that have recently been contacted?

  3. If Yes choose either

Globally - This will suppress any e-mails from anyone who has been contacted in any source or integration

In the Following Sources - You can suppress any messages from a specific integration. You may want to choose this to make sure messages do not overlap with just marketing messages


4. Then choose the timeframe of their most recent message

Campaign approvals

Choose when campaign approvals are required and who can approve them. This can prevent individuals from setting unapproved campaigns live.

For Reoccurring Campaigns


Overview:

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings (Campaigns > Campaign Settings)

  2. Under Campaign Approvals for reoccurring campaigns. Choose if approval is necessary if Default Campaign rules have been recently changed

  3. Require an approval when an e-mail will reach more than a specific amount of recipients per day.


For One-Time Campaigns

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings (Settings > Campaigns)

  2. Under Campaign Approvals for One-time Campaigns. Choose if approval is necessary if Default Campaign rules have been recently changed

  3. Require an approval when an e-mail will reach more than a specific amount of recipients per day.

Setting who is allowed to approve Campaigns

Overview:

  1. Navigate to Campaign Settings (Campaigns > Campaign Settings)

  2. Scroll down to the bottom to Who can approve campaigns an set them live

  3. Click Edit

  4. Select which users can approve campaigns
