You can book an appointment directly on the calendar and on behalf of a customer.
Overview
Start a new event from the calendar by selecting New in the top right hand corner or selecting the time slot directly on the calendar.
Choose Appointment.
Fill in the panel that opens.
Select Continue and save.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Select Appointments from the left-hand navigation, then start a new event using either of the two methods below:
The + New menu — select + New in the top right of the calendar, then Appointment. Nothing is pre-filled; the time defaults to the next half hour. On a phone, select the + icon in the header for the same two options.
Select an empty slot — the new event starts at the slot you selected, rounded to the nearest half hour, and runs for 30 minutes by default.
2. For an appointment, input all the relevant appointment details including customer name, duration, Service type, Calendar, and staff member the appointment is Assigned to. You can fill these in any order. They narrow one another as you go: the service type determines which calendars are available, the calendar determines which staff members can be assigned, and choosing Unassigned clears that filter so every calendar for the service type is shown again. All three lists are limited to your team.
3. Select Continue and save the appointment. Continue stays greyed out until the customer, service type, calendar, assigned staff member (or Unassigned), and a valid time range are all filled in.
Redirect link when booking on behalf of a customer
Some booking links send customers on to another page before the booking is complete — most commonly a payment page to put a card on file. When you book on a customer's behalf, Endear does not send you off to that page automatically. Instead, a link appears on the confirmation step that you can select to open it. This keeps you inside Endear and avoids the browser blocking the redirect.
