Overview
The appointments calendar view gives your team a visual, interactive way to see and manage every booking. Instead of reading appointments as rows in a table, you can view them on a true calendar grid and switch between day, week, month, and list views to plan at the right level of detail.
Use the calendar view to:
Switch between day, week, month, and list views to match how you work
Filter by team, staff, calendar, or service to focus on what matters
Color-code appointments by service or by staff for quick scanning
See real-time updates as your team books, reschedules, or cancels appointments
Open any appointment to view details, customer info, form responses, and full appointment history
View modes
You can switch between different view modes from the view options in the sidebar:
Day view: Shows a single day with one column per visible staff member, ideal for managing a busy day at one location.
Week view: Shows a 7-day time grid with the current day highlighted, ideal for planning the week ahead.
Month view: Shows a monthly grid with compact appointment pills, ideal for high-level planning and longer-range visibility.
Filters and color coding
The sidebar includes collapsible filter sections for Teams, Staff, Calendars, and Services, so you can expand or narrow the calendar to exactly what you want to see.
You can also color-code appointments on the calendar by service or by staff. The color coding on the calendar will also match the colors shown in the filters.

Appointment details
Selecting any appointment on the calendar opens a detail panel that replaces the filter sidebar, keeping the calendar view visible behind it. The panel shows:
Customer name, phone number, and status
Assigned staff member, service type, date, time, and duration
Team or location and calendar
Form responses
Full appointment history
Default view by role
The default view that loads when you open Appointments depends on your role. Admins and managers land on a wider view of team activity, while staff land on a focused view of their own appointments. Every role can still navigate to every view; these defaults are starting states, not access restrictions.

Switching between calendar view and the list view
You can switch between the calendar view and the list view at any time using the view options in the sidebar. Your selected view mode persists within your current session.
