How to report on opportunities

Track AI Opportunity Engine performance with custom charts that measure message volume, replies, attributable revenue, and conversion rate.

Applies to: Admins, Managers

Overview

Endear's reporting tools let you measure how opportunities are performing across your brand or within a specific team. This article walks through three recommended chart configurations:

  • A brand-level view showing opportunity messages sent over time, with reply rate, attributable revenue, and conversions

  • A team-level view showing how many opportunity messages each staff member is sending

  • A team-level dashboard that automatically scopes to a manager's current team

These charts measure messages sent from opportunities. They do not measure the percentage of generated opportunities that were completed.

Step-by-Step Guide

Build a brand-level opportunity performance chart

To see how many opportunity messages your brand is sending overall and how well those messages are performing, build the following chart:

  1. From the left-hand navigation, select Insights, then select Messaging chart.

  2. Add the following configuration:

    1. Set the Chart Type as Line or Bar Chart

    2. Keep the X-Axis as Message Date

    3. Adjust the Date Range and frequency to your preference

    4. Keep the Metric as Count of Messages

    5. Add an Additional Columns Count of converted messages, Count of messages with customer replies, and Attributable value of message conversions

    6. Add a Filter for Message is from an opportunity to scope the chart to only messages tied to opportunities.

  3. Save the chart to a brand-level dashboard so admins can monitor performance over time.

Build a chart evaluating all teams on opportunity performance

To analyze how your different teams are actioning on their opportunities, build the following chart:

  1. From the left-hand navigation, select Insights, then select Messaging chart.

  2. Follow the configuration below:

    1. Adjust the chart type to Bar Chart

    2. Keep the X-Axis as Message Date

    3. Adjust the Date Range and frequency to your preference

    4. Keep the Metric as Count of Messages

    5. Add a Filter for Message is from an opportunity to scope the chart to only messages tied to opportunities.

    6. Adjust the Group by to Sent from to see how your teams compare.

Build a chart to view individual staff members on a specific team

To analyze how individual staff members on a single team are actioning on their opportunities, build the following chart:

  1. From the left-hand navigation, select Insights, then select Messaging chart.

  2. Follow the configuration below:

    1. Set the Chart Type as Bar Chart

    2. Keep the X-Axis as Message Date

    3. Adjust the Date Range and frequency to your preference

    4. Keep the Metric as Count of Messages

    5. Add an Additional Columns of Attributable value of message conversions

    6. Add a Filter for Message is from an opportunity to scope the chart to only messages tied to opportunities.

    7. Add a Filter for Sent From and set to is Current Team

    8. Adjust the Group by and set to Sent By

  3. Save the chart to a dashboard.

  4. When a manager opens the dashboard, the chart will automatically scope to the team they are currently logged into, so each manager sees only their team's own data.

Important considerations

  • These charts measure messages sent from opportunities, not opportunities generated. Completion rate is not currently available in Endear's reporting UI.

  • Some default filters, such as the one excluding failed messages, may affect your totals. Review and adjust filters as needed to match what you want to measure.

  • The Current team and Current user options on the Sent from and Sent by filters are dynamic, meaning they adjust based on whoever is viewing the dashboard. Use these to build a single team-level view that works for all managers across a brand.
