Overview

Use the PIN-Enabled Devices page to view your the devices you have registered, edit their names, view which teams are using which devices, and disable devices as needed.

  • View all registered devices from Settings → PIN-Enabled Devices.

  • See device name, status, device type, date registered, and active teams at a glance.

  • Click a device to see its full details and edit its display name.

  • The device you're currently using is marked with a This device indicator.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. From the left-hand navigation, select Settings, then PIN-Enabled Devices.

2. Review the device list. Each row shows:

  • Device name — set when the device was registered.

  • Status — typically Active or Disabled (for revoked devices).

  • Device type — e.g., iPad, Windows desktop, Android phone, macOS laptop.

  • Date registered — when the device was first added.

  • Active teams — teams whose members have signed in on this device with their PIN. Empty if no one has signed in yet.

The list is sorted by date registered (newest first) by default. If you're currently using one of the registered devices, you'll see a This device indicator inline next to its name.

3. View device details. Click any device row to open its details page. The details page shows:

  • The device name and any associated status.

  • The device type and date registered.

  • A list of active teams that have used the device.

  • An option to edit the display name.

  • An option to disable PIN login on this device (see Disable PIN login on a device).

4. Edit the display name. Click the edit icon next to the device name, type the new name, and save. The updated name appears in both the device list and the details view. This is useful when devices get moved between stores, are repurposed, or just need a more recognizable label.

Understanding Active Teams

Active Teams are the teams whose members have signed in on this device with their PIN. This helps you understand who is actually using a device — which is especially useful when:

  • A device is shared between multiple teams.

  • You're trying to figure out whether a device is still needed.

  • You're auditing security and want to confirm only the right teams have access.

If no one has signed in on the device yet, the Active Teams area shows an empty state.
