Overview
The Zendesk integration uses OAuth to securely connect your Zendesk account to Endear, allowing you to sync your support data without managing API keys.
This article covers:
Connecting Zendesk to Endear for the first time
Reconnecting an existing Zendesk integration (for accounts previously connected with an API key)
Requirements
Before you start, make sure you have:
Your Zendesk subdomain (the part of your Zendesk URL before .zendesk.com)
Admin access to your Zendesk account — you'll be asked to log in to Zendesk and authorize Endear to read your data

Step-by-Step Guide
Connect a new Zendesk integration
1. From the left navigation, select Settings.
2. Select Integrations.
3. Select Add Integration.
4. Search for and select Zendesk.
5. Enter your Zendesk subdomain and click Connect with Zendesk. You'll be redirected to Zendesk to authorize Endear to read your data. Select Allow. Then you're all set!
Reconnect an existing Zendesk integration
If you previously connected Zendesk to Endear using an API key, you'll need to reconnect using OAuth. It only takes a minute.
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Select your existing Zendesk integration.
Select Reconnect in the top right.
Enter your Zendesk subdomain and select Connect with Zendesk. You'll be redirected to Zendesk to authorize Endear to read your data. Select Allow to complete the connection.
