Overview
Creating tasks in Endear helps you and your team stay organized and ensures important activities don't get missed. Here's how to create a task:
Navigate to Customers > Tasks or use the Quick Action from the Home Page
Select + Add Task
Enter title and description
Set deadline and repeat options
Assign to staff members
Add tags and link to customer (optional)
Select Create
Step-by-Step Guide
1. The fastest way to create a new task is by using the Quick action tile on the home page. Alternatively, you can navigate to tasks from selecting Customers > Tasks > Add task.

2. Enter a clear, descriptive title of the task.
3. Enter the task description. Here you can provide additional context about the task including customer details, suggestions on copy, and anything else that may be relevant to completing the task. The description is especially important if you are creating a task for someone else.
4. Enter additional task details.
Set a deadline for the task.
To create recurring tasks, select Repeat and choose your interval. This can be great for things like birthdays, anniversaries, or customers who always love a certain collection/season.
Choose which staff member(s) should complete the task. You can assign the same task to multiple people, and each assigned staff will receive email notifications.
Add relevant tags to categorize the task and link the task to a specific customer if applicable.
Select Create to save your task.
5. You can use the success notification to view the task you created and all your other tasks. Once created, the assigned staff will be notified via email and will receive reminders when the task is due. Staff can mark tasks as complete when finished.
