Adding additional recipients to and removing them from messages.

Applies to: All (Users, Managers, & Admins)

With Endear, you can send a message to one or multiple customers at once. (TIP: if you want to message an entire segment of customers, you must select the segment first, then compose a message to everyone).

To Add Recipients:

Step 1. From the compose window of a new message, click Edit

Step 2. Click the Add button to bring up your available segments

Step 3. Click on a segment to bring up a list of potential recipients.

Step 4. Choose your recipients either by selecting an entire page or by searching for specific customers and selecting them from the list by checking the box next to their name.

Standard users can message up to 100 customers to contact; managers and admins can message up to 2,500 people at once.

Step 5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

(TIP: Use the Search bar at the top to find customers within the selected segment more quickly.)

You'll see a the name and/or total number of recipients at the top of your message in the To field.

Adding or Removing Recipients

Once you've added one batch of customers, you can continue adding more or choose to remove recipients by clicking Edit from the message screen.

The edit screen will bring you to your composer window within the messaging module, with all your current recipients on the right-hand side.

To remove someone or multiple people, check the box next to their names, then click Remove

If you'd like to keep adding recipients, click on the Add button and repeat the steps 3-5 above.
