How to customize the appointment confirmation page

Redirect customers to a custom URL or keep the default confirmation page after an appointment is booked or cancelled

Updated this week

Applies to: Admins

Overview

After a customer completes an appointment booking, Endear displays a default confirmation page. Admins now have the option to replace this with a redirect to a custom URL β€” useful for integrating with your own confirmation workflows, payment processors, or tracking systems.

  • The confirmation page behavior is configured by service.

  • Admins can choose to show Endear's default confirmation page or redirect customers to a different page.

  • When redirecting, you can optionally pass booking details to the destination URL as query parameters.

Below is Endear's default appointment confirmation page

Step-by-step guide

1. From the left-hand navigation, select Appointments, then select the three dots (...), then Settings.

2. From the Appointment Settings page, select Services and choose the service you want to configure. Scroll down to the Confirmation page section. By default, Show confirmation page is selected, which displays Endear's built-in confirmation page after a booking is completed.

3. To redirect customers to a custom page instead, select Redirect to URL and enter your destination URL. The URL must use HTTPS.

  • Optionally, check Pass event details to your redirected page if you want booking information to be appended to the URL as query parameters. When enabled, the following details are included: appointment type, booking page, calendar, event ID, and the customer's email, first name, last name, and phone number (if provided).

  • Optionally, you can also select to have customers redirected to the same URL upon appointment cancellation.

Select Save to apply your changes.

To verify your setup, book a test appointment using a booking link associated with this event type. After completing the booking, confirm that customers are redirected to the correct URL. If you enabled event details, check that the expected query parameters are present in the destination URL.

Important considerations

  • HTTPS required: Redirect URLs must use the HTTPS protocol. HTTP and other protocols are not supported for security reasons. If an invalid URL is entered or cannot be parsed, Endear will fall back to displaying the default confirmation page.

  • Customer data in URL parameters: When the Pass event details option is enabled, customer information such as email and name will be included in the URL. Make sure your destination page handles this data securely and in accordance with your privacy practices.

  • New bookings only: Changes to the confirmation page setting apply to new bookings only. Previously scheduled appointments are not affected.
