The Notetaker feature allows you to quickly capture customer interactions with automatic AI-generated titles and powerful search capabilities. Here's what you can do:
Create text notes that are automatically titled by AI
Add photos to notes with behind-the-scenes transcription for searchability
Tag notes with context like "in-store" to provide additional detail
Search notes by content, including text within photos
Attach notes to specific customer profiles
What is a Note?
Notes let you record important customer information like preferences, interactions, or special details that help personalize service. Notes are visible to your entire team and become part of the customer's permanent activity history. This information becomes part of the customer's activity feed, making it easy for you and your team to reference important details during future interactions and provide more thoughtful, tailored service.
How can I add a note?
You can add a note directly from a customer's profile. If you want to create a note without linking to a specific customer, you can do so from the Home Page or from the Notes page.
Who can see my notes?
Notes are shared across your team and allow you to easily share important customer information with one another. From the Notes page, you can easily toggle between your notes and all notes for your team.
Step-by-Step Guide
Creating a Note
1. You can start a note from a variety of places:
1a. Start a new note either the customer profile.
1b. Start from the home page
1c. Start from the Notes page
2. Determine your preferred method to capture the note:
Type your note content.
Record a voice note and watch the live transcription.
Take a picture of a handwritten note or upload an existing photo.
3. Add relevant tags such as "in-store" to provide context about where the interaction happened.
4. Select Save to create the note. Within a few seconds, the system will automatically generate a descriptive title for your note so you don't need to create one manually!
Searching Notes
Navigate to the Customers section and select Notes to view all customer notes.
Use the search bar to find specific terms or content. You can search for any text that appears in your notes, including text within a photo!
The search results will show all notes containing your search terms, making it easy to find specific customer interactions or preferences.
Important Details
Automatic Titles: Every note you create will receive an AI-generated title within a few seconds of saving. This eliminates the need to manually title your notes and ensures consistency.
Photo Transcription: When you upload a photo, the system automatically transcribes the content (such as text visible in images) to make it searchable to power your search capabilities.
