Endear allows for Two Factor Authentication for your user profiles. Two Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security method that requires two different ways to prove your identity. The first is usually your password, and the second is often something like a unique code from your phone. Adding 2FA to an Endear user profile makes it much harder for someone to break into your account, even if they know your password. It's like having two locks on a door instead of just one, making your account more secure.
We offer two ways to get a code for Two-Factor Authentication.
SMS/Text Message - A unique code will be texted to your Phone Number.
Authenticator App - You can use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator to generate a unique code to verify your identity.
Setup Multi-Factor Authentication in an Authenticator App
Overview:
Click on Settings
Click on Profile
Under Two Factor Authentication Click Edit
Click Continue next to the Authenticator App
Get your app ready and click Continue
Scan the QR Code to obtain your code and click Continue

3. Click on Edit
4. Click on Continue next to Authenicator App
5. Prepare your app and Click on Continue
6. Scan the QR Code to obtain your code and click Continue
Setup Multi-Factor Authentication through SMS
Overview:
Click on Settings
Click on Profile
Under Two Factor Authentication Click Edit
Click Continue next to SMS/Text Message
Confirm your and click Continue
Enter the code from your text and click Continue
1. Click on Settings
2. Click on Profile
3. Click on Edit
4. Next to SMS/Text Message click on Continue
5. Confirm your number and Click on Continue
6. Enter the code from your phone and click Continue
Once completed you can view which authentication settings are enabled under your Profile Settings. Endear will start prompting you for a code now when you log-in.
