Available insights using appointments data
There is a lot you can dig into using the Appointments Chart, so here are some ideas. Set your X axis to...
Service type if you want to learn which services are most popular with your customers
Booking link if you want see which booking links result in the most appointments
Team if you want to analyze which stores are the busiest with appointments
Appointment status if you want to compare how many appointments were Scheduled, Completed, No-show, or Cancelled
Appointment owner if you want to see which of your associates are busiest with appointments
Reporting on appointment status
Filter a chart by status: In the chart's Filters, open Appointment status and check the statuses you want to include: Scheduled, Completed, No-show, and Cancelled.
Filter a whole dashboard by status: Use the Filters control at the top of the Appointments dashboard to apply a status filter to every appointments chart on it at once. Clear the filter to go back to all statuses.
Chart by status: Set Appointment status as the X axis to see a count of appointments for each status.
Cancellation rate is calculated as Cancelled ÷ (Completed + Cancelled + No-show). Scheduled appointments aren't included, since they haven't happened yet, and archived appointments are always left out.
Archived appointments are included in your charts unless you filter them out. In the chart's Filters, open Archived and select False to leave them out, or True to see only archived appointments.
Recent changes can take up to an hour to show. For example, a newly archived appointment may take a short time to drop out of your cancellation rate or filtered charts.
Charts you built before: Charts that filtered on the old Confirmed or Maybe statuses keep working. Those appointments now count as Scheduled.
To learn what each status means, see: Overview of appointment statuses.
Step-by-step guide
1. From Dashboards, select + Add Chart
2. Select Appointments
3. Select your desired chart settings including the type of chart, X-axis, date range, and metric. You can also apply filters to your chart to further focus your data.
