How can I CC or BCC someone on an email message?

Learn how Endear handles when someone is added the cc or bcc on an email conversation.

Can I add additional recipients to an email message via CC or BCC?

No, currently Endear does not support the ability for you to CC or BCC additional recipients on email messages. You can send a message to multiple customers, but each recipient will receive a separate copy of the message.

Note: Adding CC/BCC functionality is on our roadmap, so keep an eye out for future releases!

What happens if a customer sends me an email with someone on the CC?

Customers can add another person to an email via CC. If that happens, the conversation thread will keep those additional recipients and your replies will send to the full group including anyone who was CC'd.

  • If the customer removes the CC'd email in the same conversation thread, your reply will only go to the original recipients.

Essentially, the customer is in full control about whether an email is CC'd or removed. You do not have the ability to make changes to CC'd recipients in Endear.

What if a customer sends me an email with another customer on the CC? And what if the person CC'd replies?

In these scenarios, the message will always appear in the primary sender's activity.

What happens if a customer sends me an email with someone on the BCC?

In this scenario, you would not have visibility to anyone who was BCC'd much like any other email provider.
