Campaigns are ideal for automating the messages that you find your team constantly sending. We suggest messages such as birthday, new collection outreach, lapsed customers, etc.

Campaign access & permissions

Admins can set any Campaign live, only on the Professional plan. Any user can create a campaign, then have it approved and set live by your Admin. You can find who your admin is HERE.

Managers and Users can set some types of campaigns live as well:

A user can set a campaign live if:

  • They created the campaign

  • They are the only sender of the campaign

  • It is a one-time campaign

  • The campaign recipient limit does not exceed their sending limit (default of 100 for users)

A manager can set a campaign live if:

  • They or someone on their team created the campaign

  • The senders of the campaign are teams that they manage or themselves

  • It is a one-time campaign

  • The campaign recipient limit does not exceed their sending limit (default of 2500 for managers)

How to create a Campaign

  1. Click on Campaigns module.

  2. Click on Create Campaign.

  3. Select Campaign type & contact method.

  4. Complete the Details of your Campaign.

  5. Select Senders who you would like the message to be sent from, and the strategy used to select that sender.

  6. Click on Audience to define who will receive the messages.

  7. Click on Compose to create the message.

  8. Click on Schedule to set the constraints on when your message will be sent.

  9. Click Set Live.

Step 1. Click on Campaigns module

Step 3. Select a Campaign type & contact method:

  • Create a recurring campaign- A recurring campaign goes on indefinitely (until paused), within a daily sending window that you can define. Customers may re-enter a recurring campaign after a period of time that you can define. (Example recurring campaigns: Thank you notes, lapsed customers, Birthday messages, etc.)

  • Create a one-time campaign- A one-time campaign will run until the recipient limit you set has been reached, or until you pause it, then it will stop. A one-time campaign cannot be run again, but it can be duplicated if you'd like to run another one-time campaign with the same settings. (Example one-time campaigns: Events, New Releases, etc.)

Pick one Contact Method: Email or SMS (mobile text)

Step 4. Complete the Details of your campaign.

  • Title: Name of the Campaign

  • Description: Additional details to explain the purpose of the campaign

  • Tags: Add any tags for grouping campaigns.

For this example we are creating an "email campaign for clients who visited our store location"

Step 5. Select Senders who you would like the message to be sent from, and the strategy used to select that sender

In the first two bullet-points, select whether this should be sent by a specific person, or by a group of senders. A group of senders is useful because then customers can be matched to the best sender, and when customers reply, the messages will be distributed among that group.

Select the teams that will be sending out this recurring message daily. *This is ideal for marketing teams who want to create messages on behalf of their stores, allowing the stores to focus on one-to-one messaging and responses only.

Click on Edit to select who within the Teams will send the message.

Uncheck to remove.

Click X to remove "Anyone at Your Brand" because we only want it to be sent by the Teams we selected.

Now that we have a list of Senders as options, we can decide what strategy Endear should use to match them to a particular customer when sending a message.

Select one of the five strategies for the campaign:

  • the team closest to the customer

  • the first order location of the customer

  • the last order location of the customer

  • the customer's assigned user

  • a round-robin selection process

As you select the different options, bullets appear below describing the strategy.

Step 6. Click on Audience to define who will receive the messages. This segment is similar to how audiences are built elsewhere in Endear - the audience is defined by its filters. It's a dynamic audience list - as customer's profiles change and they match or un-match the filter, they'll enter or exit this Campaign audience.

Step 7. Click on Compose to create the message. *Utilize the Merge Fields to personalize your outreach

Step 8. Click on Schedule to set the constraints on when your message will be sent.

  • The # of recipients that can receive a message every day

  • Date the message will begin sending

  • Time frame message will be sending in

  • When a recipient may or may not re-enter the campaign, receiving the message again

Step 9. Once, that's complete you are ready to set your Campaign live.

Only Admins can set a Campaign live, and Managers and Users with some constraints (see above). Any user can create a campaign, then have it approved and set live by an Admin. You can find who your admin is HERE

Click Set Live to begin Campaign

How to stop a Campaign from running
